Felicia Gaylord Obituary

Felicia Marie (Holmes) Gaylord, 46, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on Feb. 16, 1978, in New Kensington, PA, to Karen Bohonek (Skomo) and Larry Holmes. Felicia moved to Melbourne, Florida, in 2009, where she later met her late husband, William. Felicia, a beloved soul, had a talent for bringing joy to everyone she encountered. In her leisure hours, she occupied herself with crocheting, solving puzzles, and exploring new home improvement projects. Embracing a life of simplicity, she never failed to appreciate each day. Time spent basking in the sun at the beach or unwinding in her pool brought her great pleasure. Additionally, Felicia devoted a portion of her life to serving as a registered nurse, providing care and healing to those in need. Surviving Felicia's death are her three children, Carl Jr., Tyler, and Ashley; three stepchildren, Shavon, Eric, and Shanay; two brothers, Kevin (Kimberly) Holmes and Brad (Amber) Holmes; other survivors include, four step-grandchildren "grand shorties," Niare, April, Zuri, and Shaniyah; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear and devoted friends. Funeral arrangements were private, a Celebration of Life will be held in Lower Burell at a later date.
