Well, Rick has to have been one of the most interesting guys I never met. I have been fortune enough to have been "one of his people" that helps him get stuff done. Memories? The George Forman grill that he came with so he could teach all of us how to cook because we cooked different from his mom. He was always going to build a new fridge from wood. His 60th birthday party when he told all of us "take two aspirin and call me in the morning". I will miss ya Rick! You are definately a person that made a difference and I will never forget!!

Rick was my brother-in-law for 37 years and I will miss him. As I look back on the years I will remember how he always had a plan and somehow in that plan there was time to go out to eat. Rick got so much enjoyment in going out to eat. I remember a couple of years ago I took him out for breakfast to celebrate his birthday at Perkins, he was in heaven then. I take comfort in knowing he is now "in the real heaven with the rest of his family. Love you Brother-in-law!

I remember Ricky from the Jaycee days with my dad and being around Heights functions in the early 80's. May your memories of Rick bring you peace and happiness. Ricky, say "Hi" to big John (my Dad) for me up there in heaven, may you rest in peace.

Warm Summer Sun
Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

I also worked with Ricky back years ago at Target. Rick will be missed by his friends and family here on earth but I know that he's heading to a much better, kinder, world. Take care, Rick.

Growing up across from Huset Park in the late 60's and early 70's, I knew Rick as a fixture at the ball fields. He was always assisting the little league coaches as the designated umpire. He was liked by all.
My thoughts and prayers are with Rick's family as they grieve his loss.

While I only knew Rick for a short time, I am very thankful I had the opportunity. I will miss hearing: “Can you help me, my phone doesn’t work” and “Can you help me organize my office?”
Rick was a thinker; he always had several plans in his mind. Whether it was going up north, building a log cabin, taking a trip on a plane to see his distant family, having lunch at Tasty, or just running to the Arches, he always tried his best to complete his plans.
He truly missed his immediate family, but was always extremely grateful and thankful for his Gram, Aunts, Sister-in-Law, Kid Brother, and all their families and friends.
Friends are hard to come by, and good ones even harder. For those close to Rick, my heart goes out. My prayers and sincere condolences to his family, friends, and for all those who knew him.
God speed Rick!!!

To the Kozlak Family - I worked with Ricky at Target a very long time ago. He was always famous for bringing in carts and telling people who were in his way.. "Meep-Meep". I will never forget that... My thoughts are with your family
