Marshadean Grizzle Obituary
She was born Nov. 12, 1944, in Swain County N.C., to Alvin Gibson and Emma Clampitt Gibson.
She was a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Clampitt Gibson, father, Alvin Gibson and brothers Jay Gibson and Charlie Gibson.
She is survived by children, Terry (Susan) Green, Larry Green, Robert Green, Jason (Kiera) Harris; siblings, Faye Lerch, James (Carolyn) Gibson, Ray (Judy) Gibson, Oneta Harrison, Emily Bowers, Christine (Gary) Walker, Kathleen (Mike) Weiss; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, from Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Ellington and the Rev. Danny Townsend officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Justin Green, Joey Green, Heath Green, Nathan Green, Bradley Stone and Cody Lowery.
Honorary pallbearer was Chris Cox.
Donations can be made to the funeral home in memory of Mrs. Grizzle.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
