Robert Mills Obituary
October 18, 1946 – October 2, 2024
Born and raised in the bay area, Rusty graduated San Francisco State on a Water Polo scholarship. He was a National Archery Champion, a youth archery instructor in Nevada City, a "49er Faithful" forever. Rusty served as a Marine Captain Artillery during Vietnam War and spent his career as a successful salesman.
Robert is survived by his wife of Lincoln, Ca Jean Westvold.
After suffering from Alzheimer's for many years, he is finally at peace and his kind spirit will be greatly missed.

I knew Rusty Mills at Auburn VA prior to my retirement in 2019. He was a very nice and honorable man and really enjoyed teaching archery at Stanford University over three years. I was fortunate to know him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rusty while he was a resident at Sonrisa. He always greeted me with a smile and asked me how my golf game was as he recognized my golf hat. I looked foreword to seeing him every time I visit my mother. He will be missed and my condolences to his family and loved ones. I only regret I wish I had meet him sooner in life but nevertheless it was an honor.
