Marilyn Joy Logan

June 15, 1941 – July 8, 2024

Marilyn Joy Logan of Grass Valley died July 8, 2024, after struggling through heart disease and cancer for many years. Per her request there will be no services.

She was born June 15, 1941, in Everett, Washington, the youngest of seven children to Charles David Senter and Clara Anna Kimmerle. She graduated from Everett General Hospital School of Nursing and San Francisco State University School of Nursing. She worked at several hospitals in Washington and California, the last one was Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.

She and her husband Louis Dell Logan graduated together from San Francisco State University (SFSU) and then traveled extensively in the states and overseas as he pursued a career in writing and drilling for oil. They first resided in Grass Valley in 1967 and then again in 1977. They lived in the home that Louis built. They made their living in real estate for many years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Cameron of Grass Valley, son, Wallace Logan of Sandpoint, Idaho and four grandchildren, Donald and Elizabeth Cameron and Lance and Mason Logan. She is also survived by brothers, David and Donald Senter, of Everett, WA. She was predeceased by brothers Richard, Howard, and Charles, sister Clara Louise and her parents. She will be cremated, and her ashes will be interred with those of husband Louis in the San Francisco Bay.

I´m so sorry for such a great loss. I found memories of Marilyn when I have met her. Knowing Tracy for almost 50 years I feel I´ve known her the same amount of time. My prayers are with the family. God Bless.
