Lynn Fausset-Hansen Obituary
April 20, 1957 – July 26, 2024
Lynn Ruth Fausset Hansen passed away July 26, 2024 at age 67 in her home.
She is survived by her loving husband Ron Hansen of 35 years.
Lynn was an RN at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for 36 years. She was in Labor and delivery. She attended Bella Vista High School where she was in the Glee Club, Orchestra, played hockey , and basketball. She attended Sierra College and Sacramento State University. She was also member of the Sacramento Symphony.She loved animal's, gardening, sewing, cooking, skiing, fishing and shooting. Lynn was a hell of a shot. She belonged to and an original founder of the the Sierra Muzzle Loaders.
She will be missed by by her step children Kim Hacker (Mike), Sandy Monell (Ken), Kris Hansen (Vicki) Grandchildren Micheal Jr. Hacker (LaRae), Mathew Hacker (Emily),Taylor Hansen (Haley),Travis Hansen (Ashley), Ashlee Monell, Emilee Monell. Great Grandchildren Liam, Lucy, Kate and Beau also many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by mother Dorthy Marie Burke, father Don Burke, sister Dawn "Dee" Chrisman.
She will be deeply missed.
A memorial will be held at the ButterMakers Cottage at Western Gateway Park October 27th 1-4pm.

Lynn was my favorite L&D nurse when I was having my oldest child. She was supportive but firm when she needed to be. She was very reassuring to me during a very difficult time that turned into an emergency. Lynn made a difference for me that I will be forever grateful for and never forget.

I worked with Lynn many years at Sutter Roseville Hospital. She always had a smile and was so friendly to everyone. She was an awesome Nurse. She will be missed. My condolences to the family and those who knew her.

I remembered Lynn and Ron both and loved their personalities, they were made for each other. I knew them for many years. I am so sorry Ron, I know you will miss Lynn so much. I loved it when they came in Rough and Ready Market where l worked. Sending love and prayers. Aunt Mary

Lynn, was a wonderful friend, and I will miss her.The last year of her life was spent with friends and her bible group which she enjoyed very much. Lynn, we will see you "at the gates!" Love you and miss you.
