Edward Brundage Obituary

EDWARD BRUNDAGE JR

August 25, 1931 to June 26, 2024

Edward Brundage Jr, known affectionately as Eddie or the Mayor, passed away on June 26th, 2024 in Surprise Arizona. Born on August 25, 1931 in San Pedro, California. Eddie's presence and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. He had a rich and fulfilling life. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan in 2011. He is survived by two daughters, Andrea Brundage and Raylene Brundage and Joan's 2 sons, Chris and Craig Seran. Ed was beloved by his family - he was and still is a role model for how to live a fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends.

Ed worked for the Bell System for many of his early career years and after retirement he started a new and successful career in Real Estate in Grass Valley. Ed and his wife Joan loved Grass Valley and had many friends there. In 2004 they moved to Surprise Arizona settling in a Del Webb community "The Grand" where they enjoyed all the wonderful perks such a community afforded. Ed remained in the community and continued to enjoy his many friends. Ed stayed active with Table Tennis and loved Bocce and his Bocce buddies. His favorite afternoon activity was shmoozing with his many friends at Angela's bar - he was referred to as the "Mayor' which he loved. He loved to tease and took great pride in his sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life is planned

October 26th at Ed's favorite place to hang out,

Angela's Kitchen in Surprise, Arizona

Cheers to you Ed, your presence

will be missed, your memory treasured.

We will love you always and forget you never.
