Dale was a great man and more importantly a great Brother of mine. Terribly sad he passed. Many great memories of him as my "big brother". Love you and RIP.

I enjoyed playing Cajun and Zydeco music with Dale at KVMR and was delighted when he took over the show. Here's a photo of Dale at the controls with Louisiana Sue and the woman who I believe had the show for a while either before or after Dale, though I can't remember her name. This was on 12/23/1993 (I'm in the Santa hat). Dale was a great guy and fun to be around to share our mutual love of this homegrown American music. I also was impressed with his stories and writings about the history of some of PG&E's power projects. My condolences to his family.
