Leona Spears Obituary

WHITTIER - Leona Boston Spears, 72, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 29, 2024.
A native of Robbinsville and longtime resident of Whittier, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Nettie McLean Boston.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant son, Troy Jenkins.
She is survived by her husband, of ten years, Troy Spears; children, Ted Wayne (Hannah) Jenkins Jr., Ted Christopher Lee (Lisa) Jenkins and Harold (Tracy) Tipton Jr.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold, Lee and James; sisters, Francis, Patricia and Geneva; stepmother, Maxine Boston; and stepdaughters, Lora and Karen.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service.

My deepest condolences to Troy and the family. Leona was such a a sweet lady , always enjoyed our conversations when I lived next door. Go with God now and say hello to Heaven.
