John Hyde Obituary
Bryson City, NC-John Lee Hyde, 85, passed away at his home Sunday, April 21, 2024. He was the son of David Patrick and Hessie Ball Hyde. He was a member of the Hillside Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde, Dale and Elmer Hyde; and sisters, Lucille Johnson and Edna Chambers. John is survived by his wife, of 65 years, Shirley Guge Hyde; sons, Jimmy (Vickie) Hyde and Joel Hyde; grandchildren David (Virginia) Hyde and Selena Hyde; great-grandchildren, Mya Hyde and Roxanne White; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends galore.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m., at Lauada Cemetery. Pastor Al Alemany will conduct the services.
Pallbearers will be David Hyde, Tim Breedlove, Terry Hyde, Sam Hyde, Scott Cody and Donald Guge.
