Diana Hopkins, age 64, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, formerly of Chicago, passed away as a result of a tragic automobile accident on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Diana is survived by her siblings Dave Hopkins and Jim (Darlene) Hopkins, brother-in-law Rudy Campanotto, sister-in-law Beverly Hopkins and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Henrietta Hopkins, brother Warren Hopkins and sister Joy Campanotto. Diana was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Chicago. She worked at Sears Tower as an administrative assistant for several years before attending the police academy and joining the Chicago Police Department from which she retired in 2014. After retirement Diana moved to Ohio near her brother Dave. She loved her furry friends and BINGO. Diana went to her Bingo nights several times a week where she was able to be with her many friends. Diana was a loving sister, aunt and friend and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation for Diana will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 3-7:00pm at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Her funeral service will take place immediately following at 7pm also at the funeral home.
