Robert Fazio Obituary
ALBANY - Robert Vincent "Bob" Fazio, aged 90, passed away peacefully at Van Rensselaer Manor on August 19, 2024, in Albany, N.Y. Born on April 9, 1934, in Albany, N.Y., he was the cherished son of Salvatore and Margaret Fazio.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Katherine E. Fazio; children, MaryKay (Ken) Wengler, Paul Fazio, and Lynne (Bruce) Mattingly; grandchildren, Chelsea Meredith, Salvatore Wengler, Kenny Wengler, JP Wengler, Nicholas Fazio, Benjamin Fazio, Patrick Fazio, Peter Mattingly, and Nathan Mattingly; and great-grandchildren, Holden Wengler, Elliott Mattingly, and Eliza Mattingly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, at 10 a.m., at Mater Christi Catholic Church, 40 Hopewell St., Albany, N.Y., with the funeral mass immediately following at 11 a.m.
Interment will occur at St John the Baptist Cemetery in Valatie, N.Y.
The family would like to thank the staff of the B1 unit at Van Rensselaer Manor for their kind, compassionate care of Bob and his care team at The Community Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or The Community Hospice.

My brother in law was more like a brother especially since 2012 He enjoyed living at Avila and participated in many oftheir social outings Since he was confined to the house he enjoyed playing games every Sunday These last 2 years were very hard to share I will greatly miss him
