Guntersville, Alabama - In the early morning hour of September 18th, heaven received another angel. Patricia (Patty) Spain McLaughlin passed peacefully surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her sister Mary (Kathy) Spain McLaughlin and her parents Charles and Helen Spain.
Patty is survived by 3 children, Lisa McLaughlin Smith, David McLaughlin Jr., and Michele McLaughlin Bowers. She left behind 2 sisters and a brother, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces/nephews and amazing friends.
Patty had a tough as nails exterior, but a kind, gracious, and loving heart. She had a great love of family, friends, travel and art. Patty will truly be missed but not forgotten!
