Jayden McCoy Watkins, born on May 28, 2018, was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him. He departed this world on January 2, 2025, leaving behind a profound impact on his family and friends. Jayden was a vibrant first grader who possessed an infectious smile and laugh that had the remarkable ability to brighten any mood. His playful and goofy nature made him a natural-born leader, effortlessly drawing smiles from all around him. Jayden had a deep love for music and dancing, often found lost in the rhythms of his favorite Christian songs. He delighted in dressing up, adding a touch of joy to every occasion. Time spent with his family was cherished; he loved playing with his brother, Jeremiah, and his sisters, Aaliyah and Cataleya, along with his many cousins, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere that resonated with laughter and love.
An imaginative soul, Jayden particularly admired superheroes, especially Spiderman, often engaging in imaginative play with his siblings, transforming ordinary moments into grand adventures. He had a passion for games of all kinds, always seeking entertainment and excitement in a variety of activities. He is survived by his mother, Amber Watkins; brother, Jeremiah Watkins; sisters, Aaliyah and Cataleya Watkins; grandmother, Jody Lewis; aunts Natasha Cupidore, Alisa Davis, and Ashleigh Lewis; uncle Isaiah Lewis-Watkins; great-grandmother Jean Lewis; and a host of other loving family members.
Jayden will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. His joyful spirit and vibrant personality will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Calling hours will be held at Word of Life Church, 12 E. Oneida St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027 on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 10AM to Noon.
