Lisha was my daughter while she lived in Delaware. We sang on the Praise Team together, she was our Director. Me and my girls had come to LOVE HER like she was our very own. I've talked to her many times when she moved away and we would laugh for hours. She always wanted me to know that she was still serving God, REGARDLESS. I'm hurt that she left so abruptly, but to know she was still on her post is a Blessing!! Sleep well Elisha.......To her family......My prayers are with you!! She will really be missed!

Lisha, my dear baby sister, it’s been so hard to think of us not being in the presence of each other laughing, hugging, talking or just a text “hey siswyd” oh, how I miss that!!!! I wake each morning waiting on a text from you with “Good Morning Sis, Happy (whatever day it is) and us sharing our devotions and affirmations with each other!!!! My heart truly aches, you won’t be here for me to ask questions I knew you you had the answer too, because you were smart like that and you won’t be here anymore for me to help you when needed. We were there for each other no matter what!!!! Lisha, it’s taken me a few days to share my condolences because my mind has been all over the place, but one thing I can truly sayyou loved us and we loved you lil’ sis, you are truly missed!! I have comfort in knowing that God knew what was best for your soul, I just wasn’t ready to get that call Sunday night 2-16-25, but sis one thing I knowYou are free!!!
You will be singing in that Heavenly Choir with momma!!! Rest well, sislove you with all my heart and half my liver!!! ❤❤
Your Big Sis, Nezzie

Although the chance to get to know my aunt-in-law was taken from me far too soon, E’lisha’s warm and lively spirit left an impression on me that will last a lifetime. She brought joy to those around her, and I know she will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.

“Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun,
so must you know pain.
And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life,
your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy;
And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields.
And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.” - Kahlil Gibran
Ms. Elisha was family, more importantly, she was a woman of character and integrity. She taught me there is nothing more important than family,god, and the ones to whom you love.
Love you forever, Grayson J.

My dear sister-in-law, Elisha, was taken from me far too soon. I am left with a deep sense of loss, feeling as though I was robbed of the chance to fully know the incredible person she was. Elisha was truly one of a kind-exquisite, vibrant, and full of life.
From the very moment we met, she welcomed me with open arms, making me feel as though I had always belonged in her family. She captured the beauty of our wedding through her lens, preserving every cherished moment. Her watermark remains on some of the photos, but the most enduring mark she left is the one on my heart.
I love you, Elisha, and I find peace knowing you are now safely in God's hands.
Love, Grace Hardin
