Don was a man of quiet strength, a rock for his family, and a beacon of unwavering support for those he loved. He faced life's challenges head-on, never afraid to do the hard things, a trait that defined his character and inspired those around him.

A proud veteran, Don served as a medic in the Vietnam War, where he bravely tended to the wounded and offered comfort in the face of adversity.

Don was a man of intellect and few words. He possessed a sharp mind, yet he preferred the company of a select few, cherishing the bonds of deep and meaningful relationships. He was an introvert at heart, finding solace in quiet moments of reflection and contemplation.

Above all, Don was a man of immense love and devotion. He would do anything for the people he cared about, offering his time, his energy, and his unwavering support without hesitation. His love for his two daughters was boundless, and he cherished the moments they shared together.

Don was proceeded in passing by his parents, his sister, Deb Francis, and his brothers, David Gilmore and Doug Gilmore.

Don leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and unwavering love. He will be deeply missed by his two daughters and their husbands, Jamie and Paul Luna and Holly and Ryan Fox, his granddaughters, Lannie Fox, Gabrielle Green and Aubrey Fox, his sister, Dianne Stratton, his brothers, Dan Gilmore and Dennis Gilmore, and a host of extended family who were touched by his life.
