Christine Miskimins Obituary

Christine, "Chris," passed away on Dec. 22, 2024 in Wisconsin.
Born April 29, 1948, in Portland, Ore. Chris was the second oldest of 11 children born to Charles and Lois Clifford. Chris attended St. Mary's Academy, graduating in 1966.
Chris met her husband Neil Miskimins at the Portland Chancellor's Club in early 1970, marrying at St. John Fisher Church on July 25, 1970. They were married over 50 years, until his passing in 2020. A devoted mother, Chris will be remembered for the work she put into raising her six children as well as her devotion to her Catholic faith.
After raising her children, Chris was employed at St. John Fisher Church and School until she and Neil retired to Montana in 2015. She is survived by her six children, Patrick, Sean, Caroline (Iggulden), Laurie, Elizabeth, Brian and their partners; 14 grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Chris will be laid to rest in Oregon in the summer of 2025, in conjunction with a memorial service. Offerings in Chris' name may be made to St. John Fisher Church.

In response to Barbara (Carter) Wartell´s comment:
Thank you so much Barb for your kind words. The Clifford´s fondly remember our times with the Carter family. Your words went out on our sibling text chain and the responses were animated and full of sweet memories (who won that last softball game in the field behind our house?).
Chris was a treasure, we love(d) her immensely and she will be missed. But we´re certain she´s in a better place.
Our best to your entire family.
