Ms. Tammy Mae Hinton, 58, loving mother and grandmother, formerly of Indiana, passed away at her home following a brief illness with her family at her side, during the evening of Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Born on June 23, 1966, in Beech Grove, Indiana, she was the daughter of Carrol and Helen Hinton. Tammy retired from the Chrysler Foundry in Indianapolis, where she worked on the assembly line helping put motors together. After retirement, she moved to Mullins, South Carolina, where she enjoyed the sunshine and outdoor activities. Tammy was a passionate Harley Davidson enthusiast, who loved riding with friends and attending the Myrtle Beach rallies. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Tammy is survived by her son, Jesse Pridemore of Mullins; her daughter, Jodi Hinton of Illinois; her grandchildren: Bishop Hinton of Mullins, Braelyn Kloster, Bryson Kloster, and Benson Kloster, all of Illinois; her sister, Teresa Hinton of Indiana; and her brother, Roger Hinton of Mullins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 28, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home's Facebook page for those unable to attend.
