We sadly said goodbye to our beloved mother, Myrna Lea Darnell, who passed away on March 21st, 2026, while surrounded by her loving family as she drifted up to heaven. Myrna was born to Alvin & Lula Byrd who preceded her in her journey. After graduating from Marcus High School in 1961, she wed Robert C. Watt USAF and together they welcomed their son, Robert C. Watt Jr. into the world. After being tragically widowed two years later she remarried and welcomed her daughter Teresa Morford. She worked tirelessly to raise her children on her own and retired from Whitworth Water District in 2002. Myrna set out on many adventures gathering lots of partners in crime along the way. She also enjoyed doing the hardest puzzles she could find, reading with her cats on her lap and spending countless time with her grandchildren she loved so dearly. She is survived by her son Robert C. Watt Jr.; daughter Teresa Morford; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Please join us for Myrna's celebration of life April 26, 2026, at Corbin Community Center, 827 W. Cleveland Ave., Spokane, WA, 12-2pm. Burial will proceed on April 12th, 12pm, Bossburg Cemetery, Bossburg, WA.
