Douglas Johnson Obituary

He later made his home near Reardan, Washington, where he raised his family. Doug worked in agriculture with Western Farm Service before spending over 20 years at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Doug was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and love of people. He enjoyed gardening and was always quick to share the fruits of his labor with others. If you spent time with Doug, you were likely working alongside him, learning by doing. Doug also had a love for trains, fishing, and maintaining a beautiful yard. Fishing trips with his grandchildren earned him the affectionate nickname "Grandpa Fishy."

Doug shared 43 years of marriage with his wife, Donna. Together they created beautiful homes and spent time living on the Oregon Coast, where he worked at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Johnson; children Barbra Bondeson, Annette Johnson, Debbie Laforce, and Ken Johnson; and many grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Millen.

Doug will be remembered for his dedication to family, his willingness to help others, and the values he passed on to those he loved.

Family will have a gatheri.ng on April 12th at 620 N Stanley St. Medical Lake @1:00pm to celebrate Dad's life
