Darlene Sue DAWSON Obituary

Mar 18, 2026

Darlene Sue Dawson (proudly named by her father), age 76, transitioned out of this life on March 18, 2026, in Spokane, Washington.

She was born in Lewiston, Idaho, and is survived by her brother Monte Swears, who lives in Seattle, Washington.

One of the many milestones of Darlene's was as a spirited, enthusiastic realtor for 50 years. She never met a person she could not talk to with genuine curiosity, interest, and care.

Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, humor, compassion, and adventure. Her passing will leave a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. She was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Asking you to remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the joyous way it was lived and the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Celebration of Life for Darlene, May 7th, 2026, Coeur D'Alene Hotel, ferry boat boarding at 1:00 pm-1:30 pm, leaving at 1:30 pm. Any questions, please call Monte at 206-499-0872.
