Randall Thomas Taylor passed away surrounded by family and friends, March 10, 2024, after a courageous battle with throat cancer.
Randy was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1953 to Alfred and Merial Taylor and raised in Lancaster, California, graduating from Antelope Valley High School in 1972. He signed with the Oakland A's organization, to pitch for the Coo's Baby North Bend-based Oregon ball club. After pursuing his baseball career, he returned to Saugus, CA and went into business with his dad as part owner of Del Taco that grew into a family business, over the years.
Randy loved riding his Harley motorcycles, working on his hot rods, hunting, fishing and most of all family and friends, he lived his life to the fullest. He had a big heart and compassion for people and animals and only God knows all the help he gave to those that needed help.
Randy is survived by his first wife Laurel, son Travis (Laura) daughter Olivia, daughter Hilary (James) grandchildren Riley, Wyatt, Greyson, Kailia. Sister Linda (Keith), sister Carolyn (Mike) sister-in-law De. Many nieces and nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
Funeral services will be held on April 7, at 1-6 pm, at Blomgren Ranch 15142 Sierra Hwy, Santa Clarita, CA 91390
