Marianne Goodrich Obituary

HOPE VALLEY, RI- Marianne L. (Ferayorni) Goodrich, 85, died peacefully on March 23, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Ferayorni and Pauline (Spock) Ferayorni.

Marianne was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Speech Pathology. She was a Speech Pathologist in private practice and with Cranston Public Schools for 37 years.

She was a Communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir for many years.

She loved listening to the Italian operas and would sing along while taking long drives in her car with faithful little Peewee riding beside her. She loved celebrating every holiday with her family and could never bring too many Italian pastries to share.

She leaves her loving children: Tracey A. Johnson of Warwick, RI and Eric S. Johnson of Carrabassett Valley, ME. She was the mother of the late Catherine H. Goodrich and John Peter Berte. Cherished grandmother of James Benjamin Hunnicutt, Cameron James Mack, and great-grandmother of Lylia

Davies and Logan Hunnicutt. She was the sister of the late Anthony Ferayorni. She also leaves her beloved dog, Peewee.

Her Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 55 Main Street, Wickford. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Edesia Nutrition, 550 Romano Vineyard Way, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
