Kenneth Seaver Obituary

Kenneth R. Seaver, 80, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2025, in Sacramento, California. Born in Lowville, New York, Kenneth was the son of Ted and Shirley Seaver of Turin, NY. He spent his early years on his father's dairy farm in upstate New York, where he developed a strong work ethic and a lifelong curiosity about the world around him. Kenneth pursued a career as a computer programmer, entering the field during the era of punch cards and continuing through decades of technological evolution. His professional life reflected his adaptability and dedication to learning. A passionate music enthusiast, Kenneth enjoyed traveling to attend concerts and took joy in learning to play instruments such as the banjo, harmonica, and piano. His love for vehicles was equally strong-he frequently worked on his cars and motorcycles, attended numerous driving schools, and was a former member of the San Diego BMW Club. Kenneth led an active lifestyle throughout his life. He was an avid runner, skier, and bicyclist. Even at 80, he remained a familiar sight in his neighborhood during daily walks and bike rides. Family was central to Kenneth's life. After living in various parts of the country, he returned to upstate New York to be near his parents in their later years. Following their passing, he moved back to California to be closer to his sons and grandsons. He was predeceased by his younger brother, James Seaver. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Klossner; his sons, Mark and Robert; and his grandsons, William and Andrew. A small service for family and friends is being held. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

It was so nice to see Ken again six-seven years ago at the General Martin class reunion. Happy to know his dry, spot-on humor had not failed over the last 60 years! Are we really that old? It was wonderful to catch-up, however brief. RIP, Ken.

Barbara, please accept my condolences, for you and your whole family. This is such a shock. I truly thought he would live at least as long as your dad. I belatedly earned just how much fun he got out of life.

Barb, so sorry to hear the loss of Kenny. I had not seen him since the 1960s. Now I can say, it was July 2025 - phones & emails with Kenny. Kenny was "begging" to help 2 days before THE GENERAL MARTIN school reunion. Then Kenny let me know he was not able to attend the reunion because he had to get back to Califonia. I will remember Kenny as "the guy who has the heart that help others

What a real loss. My two best friends from Glenfield school have passed away. Ken Seaver and John Domagola. I first met Ken even before we began school. My father and I went to the Seaver farm to deliver feed for the cows. We were classmates kindergarten through high school.

We send our condolences to Ken's family and friends.
He paid us a surprise visit this past Fall at our home on Chases Lake and we shared past stories and lunch with us. We had several other visits in the past ten years also.
