John Joseph Zawacki Jr., 66, of Claysville, died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born on November 25, 1955, in Washington, a son of the late John Joseph Zawacki, Sr., and Mary Siedlak Zawacki.
A graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, John was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Mr. Zawacki was co-owner and operator, along with his wife, Mae, of Zawacki Swap Shop.
He had also worked for Forbes Steel, Russell Brothers, and Thomas Campbell Apartments.
A jack of all trades, John loved to tinker with things, and enjoyed working on cars and small engines.
On October 28, 1978, he married Dorothy Mae McMullen, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, JR Zawacki, of Claysville; a sister, Helen (Joseph) Bundash, of Washington; a grandson, Dustin Zawacki; and two nieces, Melissa and Hope.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., and from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m., the time of a blessing service, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
