Jacqueline Mable Collins (Jackie), Sunrise: June 19, 1951 - Sunset: Oct 25, 2023. Jacqueline Mable Collins affectionately known as "Jackie" was born in New Orleans, La on June 19, 1951 to the late Cleo W. and Claudwell J. Collins Sr. She was a 1969 graduate of John McDonough Sr. High. She was employed with Wiser Security and Allied Universal Security Service prior to her untimely demise. Jackie was called home on Oct 25, 2023 and leaves to cherish her memories, son Darrick Collins (Octavia), daughter Jamicia Collins; six grandchildren, Kendall, Kendal Sr., Darrick, Tyrihanna, Jamayra & Na'liah; two great-grandchildren Kendal Jr. (baby K) and Za'riah. Siblings Elston Sr., Dianne, Natasha, and Gwendolyn C. Sanchez (Kenneth), Kevin (Christy). Jackie is now resting in peace with her father Claude Sr., mother Cleo, brothers Butch, Cotton, Donald, niece Alicia, nephews, Edward III & Elijah. She also leaves behind a multiplicity of loving and caring family members and friends. A balloon release and candlelight service was held November 4, 2023 at Sunflower Terrace Park in Houston, Texas. There will be a private memorial service held on Saturday November 18, 2023 and she will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in New Orleans, La.
