William Patrick Lee passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 18, 2024, in Panorama City, CA, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Bill was born on April 30, 1966, in Pomona, CA, and raised in San Dimas, CA. He was 58 years old.

Bill was the youngest of five sons born to Henry M. Lee and Delia Garcia Lee. In 1986, Bill joined his father, Henry, and brothers, Michael and Stephen, working for the County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Works. Through his 38 years of County service, Bill worked his way up the ranks to become a Heavy Power Equipment Operator. His commitment and work ethic left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community he served.

Bill met Ramona Nicole Madarieta while they both worked for the County. On March 18, 1995, they were married and made their home in Quartz Hill, CA. They were blessed with two daughters, Aitana Nicole and Melina Kalea. Bill’s greatest joy was his family; he cherished every moment spent with them. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing all over Southern California.

Bill had fond memories of growing up camping in Ensenada, Mexico, with his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He continued to share his love of camping with his wife and daughters.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Ramona; daughters, Aitana and Melina; mother, Delia; mother-in-law, Elvira (Richard) Vartanian; brothers, Michael (Terry), Stephen (Jodie), Daniel (Mari), Christopher (Elvia); brother-in-law, Paul (Karin); and nieces and nephews, Aaron (Caitlin), Cody, Kyle, Hannah, Christopher, and Sylvia Lee, and Remy (Anna) and Ava Madarieta. He is also remembered fondly by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Henry, his grandparents Manuel and Josephine Garcia, and Mary Novite Hoopai and Cornelius Lee.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Saint Junipero Serra Church, 42121 60th Street West, Lancaster, CA, 93536.
