I just heard of Wayne's passing and am so sorry. I retired from LMCEC in July 2023 and Wayne was a devoted volunteer for many years, starting with his dad while his aunt was a resident and continuing after their passing. The residents loved him and he truly gave of himself each time he came. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us. Thoughts and prayers with all of you during this time.

Dear family,
We are all saddened at LMC-EC by the passing of Wayne. One of the residents told all of us when he learned he had passed. It is sad for all of us who are still here but for Wayne, it is a glorious and happy time because he is finally home. He had such a beautiful voice and I enjoyed him and his father when they both came together to share their talents with us. It was so good to see him the last time he came out to LMC-EC. Even though we could tell he was struggling, he never stopping giving it his best. His first and foremost concern was the residents he came to sing for. There were a few who didn't make it that day that he specifically asked about, but the ones who did are so glad they got to see him that day. He always had some kind of joke to tell and he never stopped sharing his faith and love for His Lord. He did such a beautiful job each time with the song, "Go Rest High On That Mountain". Well Wayne, go rest high on that mountain cause son your journey and work is done. Go to heaven rejoicing! Which I know he did! May God bless you all. May His face shine upon you. And may He grant you peace knowing he is resting in the arms of our Lord.
