With deep love and cherished memories, the family of Vernell Lavern Jetton, age 82, announces her peaceful passing on July 27, 2025, in Ashdown, Arkansas. Born in 1942, Vernell was a devoted mother, grandmother, and matriarch whose warmth and strength touched all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Curtis Lee Jetton, and together they built a legacy grounded in love, resilience, and family. She is survived by her loving children: Charlett Fields, Barbara Jetton, Curtis (Karen) Jetton Jr., Lola Jetton, Florence (James) Battiest, Kenneth Jetton, Kirk (Felisha) Jetton, Michell (Gary) Threadgill, and Felicia Jetton Vernell was also a proud and devoted grandmother to several grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit and the lessons she taught them. Vernell will be remembered for her quiet strength, gentleness, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her home was always a place of welcome, her arms always open, and her words full of wisdom. She found joy in the simple moments and grace in life's challenges. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
