Timothy Leslie Eversole was an only child born to Janice and Roger Eversole, Mishawaka, on October 5, 1963. At the age of 61, Tim passed away on March 11, 2025, from congestive heart failure. Tim had a pacemaker – and was only ill the last 2 months of his life – when he was also on breathing equipment. He received excellent medical care in the Michiana area.
Tim was born and raised in Mishawaka. He was a 1982 graduate of Mishawaka High School. At the time of his passing, Tim was a resident at the Vannoni Assisted Living Center in Mishawaka. This facility was a great place for Tim to live. He received wonderful help with his medicine, meals, and activities – along with many friendships. Tim worked full-time until he was 58 years old – when medical issues became a concern.
Among Tim's many good and helpful friends in life, the most recent were Kay and Ed Winkel, Loni and Jay Snyder, Rebecca and Pastor Terry Parker. Nancy Smith (Mrs. Smith Tim called her) helped Tim on a constant basis for the last 6 years. Nancy really worked hard to give Tim the best life possible. Tim was always appreciative. Barbara Kampa, from Rhyme & Reason Ministry, was invaluable to Nancy when she was helping Tim. She provided Nancy with many local resources that could provide well-deserved services for Tim.
Tim was a good man – that had the BEST mother in the world. As an adult, Tim and Janice did many things together. Tim's father died when he was 14. His mother, Janice, passed away in 2007.
Tim absolutely loved anything Disney. He went to Disney World 5 times. Tim was a big fan of Mickey Mouse – his favorite Disney character. He also enjoyed writing letters. Mrs. Smith would often receive 5 letters a week from Tim. She read every word. Others received letters from Tim on a regular basis.
Tim had good writing skills – Mishawaka Schools did a great job with teaching Tim how to read, write and spell.
Going thru Tim's treasurers, he had several paper awards for his volunteer work, and being a good employee. Many of them said he was a hard worker and very devoted to doing a good job. He worked in many area restaurants during his life time, mainly as a dish washer. Tim's favorite restaurant was Cheddars Scratch Kitchen, and he enjoyed going to South Bend Cubs baseball games, karaoke and summer music concerts in area parks. Tim is survived by his Aunt Dorothy Wells of Evansville, IN.
Services for Tim will be on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, IN. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. with a service to follow at 4 p.m. Pastor Terry Parker will officiate the services. Please send no flowers; there will be a dinner after the service. Tim's father was a veteran and is buried with other Mishawaka veterans. Tim has a double monument with his mother in Mishawaka Fairview Cemetery – that was placed when his mother died. On the top of the monument it reads Eversole. On the left it says Janice A. and on the right it reads Timothy L. Tim's mother prepaid for his funeral – always looking out for her son. On the monument it reads: "Leaving this World Loving You" Tim was the light of his parent's life – a truly loved child.
