With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Wayne LaCoste, a beloved member of the Morgan City community. Born on February 7, 1947, in Morgan City, LA, Terry Wayne peacefully departed from this world on September 18, 2024, at his residence in Morgan City, LA at the age of 77.
Terry Wayne was a proud boat captain who had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout his life. He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the tranquility of nature and the thrill of the hunt. His passion for the outdoors was truly unmatched and served as a cornerstone of his existence.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to be forever treasured by his surviving relatives: daughters Melanie Billiot and husband Patrick, Phyllis LaCoste, Lisa Quain and husband Robert, and Jolene Gonzalez, brother Gary LaCoste, and grandchildren Courtney, Megan, McKayla, Cheyenne, Connor, Isabella, Paityn, and Natalie and 13 great grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Ivy LaCoste and Rose LaCoste, wife Madge LaCoste, and his sister Deborrah Montet
A visitation to commemorate the life of Terry Wayne LaCoste will be held at the Twin City Funeral Home on September 20, 2024, starting at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. After the ceremony, he will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
