Born in Passaic, Susan was raised in Bergen County. She attended the University of Southern California where she earned her bachelor's degree in Shakespearean Art and English. Susan was an entrepreneur who loved to stay active. She moved to Vernon over 40 years ago to raise her family and run her businesses. She owned and operated the Drunkin Cherry Cookie Company and Applewood Kennels. Her true passion was breeding, raising and showing Doberman Pinschers.
Susan was the devoted mother to her 2 sons; Jusitn Gregory and his wife, Stephanie Gregory, and Bruce Gregory and his wife, Jessica Sierra Gregory. She was the loving grandmother to her 3 granddaughters; Sophia, Isabella and Charlotte Gregory. Dear sister to Tony Belli. Susan also leaves behind her beloved pets.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4-8pm at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon NJ (for GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Court). A funeral service will take place at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11AM at Glenwood Cemetery, 926 County Rd 517, Glenwood, NJ 07418, followed by at celebration of life at the Polish American Legion, 16 Legion Road, Pine Island, NY 10969.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Applewood Kennels, P.O. Box 344, Vernon, NJ 07462. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.fergusonfuneralhomesnj.com
