Stacy Nicole Huggins, age 46, of Clovis, California passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026.
Stacy (Abercrombie) Huggins was born on February 18, 1979 in
Fresno, California, the oldest of three children to Matthew and Patricia (Hardy) Abercrombie. Stacy attended school in Kerman and graduated from Kerman High School in 1997. She was involved in Girl Scouts, Kerman Kickers and high school swim teams, and Kerman Future Farmers of America where she enjoyed showing pigs and growing crops. She received many awards in FFA but was most proud of becoming the first female in Kerman to receive the American Farmer Degree, the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization.
Stacy worked at Jerry's Foodland in Kerman while attending college. Stacy received her AA degree from Reedley College. She transferred to Fresno State University and had dreamed of becoming an Ag Teacher. Stacy worked for Abercrombie Farms and L Hardy Farms. Her position grew with the farm, handling pesticide reporting, employee training and safety. She became her father s office assistant. They both loved this special father-daughter bonding. Stacy loved being on the farm and being a part of the family operation.
Stacy attended The Well Community Church in Clovis, California. She was looking forward to being back in her women s Bible study in two weeks. Her group has been so supportive and loving to her.
In 2003 Stacy would marry Joshua Huggins, her high school sweetheart. They eventually made their home in Clovis, California. Together they have been raising their three children. Stacy was an advocate for her children and helped shape them into the beautiful, kind and loving persons they are. Helping in their classrooms, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and church youth activities, were all highlights that she loved in the kids' everyday lives.
Stacy is preceded in passing by her grandparents, Irby and Sada Abercrombie and LeRoy and Jean Hardy. Survived by her loving husband Joshua Huggins and children Brandon Matthew, Daniel Logan and Addison Faith Huggins. Parents Matthew and Patricia Abercrombie, Brothers Patrick Abercrombie (Kendra) and Bradley Abercrombie (Renee), Aunt Beverly Allen (John), Father and Mother-in-law Bryan and Kara Huggins, Sisters-in-law Nicole (Huggins) Patzkowsky (Nick) and Rachel (Huggins) Proto (Jesse). Many cousins, nieces and nephews and very dear friends.
Stacy had a quiet spirit and a hidden strength to withstand amazing adversities with grace and dignity. Modeling her faith for her family and teaching them how they should love one another in great times of joy as well as trials and that after a love of God, comes never ending love of family.
The funeral service will be held at Jay Chapel in
Madera, CA Tuesday, February 10th, at 11:00am. Graveside service immediately following next door at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, concluding with a reception at The Vineyard Restaurant.
