She was born March 26, 1964 in Millington, Michigan, the daughter of the late Emil and Emma (Herzog) Higgins. She found lifelong companionship with her devoted husband, Randall Walker, whom she wed on August 26, 1990, and joy in the laughter of her son, Matthew Walker. Sandie's memory is also lovingly honored by her siblings; Gerald (Renee) Higgins, Marjorie (Rev. Daniel) McVey, and Dale Higgins. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces; Rev. Nathan (Jenny) Higgins, Hillary (Seth) Esterline, Dr. Mary (Joe) Buschmann, Cody (Heather) Higgins, William (Melissa) McVey, Dusty (Rachel) Higgins, Jeffrey Higgins and several great-nephews and nieces.
The memorial service will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Buchanan, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the surviving family.

So many happy memories of spending time with Sandy member staying the night in her camper and when she came to our house in Millington she had a full pale full of peaches such a nice lady I also remember Sharing an apartment with her while we were attending Concordia
