Sammie Jones Obituary
Sammie Jean Day Jones, age 75 of Lafayette, TN passed away Sunday afternoon, March 5, 2023 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN. Sammie Jean is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Funeral Services for Sammie Jean Day Jones will be conducted Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Kevin Harrison & Elder Justin Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
Family requests memorials be made to the Haysville Missionary Baptist Church. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
Survivors include: Husband, Donald Leslie Jones of Lafayette, Son & Daughter-in-law, Bryan “Rooster” & Sandy Jones of Hartsville, Daughter & Son-in-law, Belinda & Barry Polston, Mother, Elizabeth Betsy Day, Grandsons, Zach Polston & Landon Polston all of Lafayette, Brother-in-law, Billy & Ann Jones of Summerville, GA.
