Ronald Mire Obituary
Kaplan, Louisiana- A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasamy will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Ronald James Mire, 68, who passed away on February 9, 2025.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM until Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Mire of Kaplan; two sons, Ronnie Mire of Duson and Aaron Mire and his wife, Chantel LeBlanc of Abbeville; one daughter, Desiree Leger and her husband Michael Leger of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Jean-Luc Mire, Elijah Mire, Braylen Mire, Isabella Leger, Aaliyah Mire, Logan Leger, Coleson Mire and Jackson Leger and two step-grandchildren, James and Paisley Price.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Allison Mire and the former Marie Doris Mire.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
