Ronald Holt Obituary

Ronald Hilton "Ronnie" Holt, 76, of Cherokee, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025. Visitation will be Monday, February 10, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with David Conley, Shaler Grigsby, and Greg Grigsby officiating. Interment will be at Barton Cemetery.
Ronnie was a native of Colbert County. He was a member of New Hope Church of Christ and the Ironworkers Local 477. Ronnie loved his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. He will be dearly missed.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Howard "Tinker" Holt; daughter, Stephanie LeeAnn West; parents, William and Louise Holt; and brothers, Terry and Gerald Wayne Holt.
He is survived by his brother, William Holt, Jr. (Linda); aunt, Rose Lawson; grandchildren, Megan Nicole Fountain (Ryan Chancellor), Madison LeeAnn Grigsby (Shaler), and Kaleb Lovelace; and great-grandchildren, Isabella and Adaline Fountain, Celia Chancellor, and one on the way, Leo Jones Grigsby.
Pallbearers are Ryan Chancellor, Shaler Grigsby, Greg Grigsby, David Conley, David Isom, and Adam Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Murphy and Steve Godfrey.
