Rogelio De La Rosa Cruz, 40, of Summit, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Born on September 8, 1984, in Oaxaca, Mexico, Rogelio was the son of Aurelia Cruz Nieva and Joel De La Rosa Bravo. He moved to Summit, NJ, over 20 years ago.
Rogelio was a hardworking and dedicated individual, known for his strong work ethic and passion for his craft. As the proud owner and operator of DLR Home Improvements, he was committed to providing excellent service to his clients, and his business was a true reflection of his dedication and skill.
Beyond his professional life, Rogelio found joy in the simple pleasures. He was an avid soccer fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, often hosting memorable BBQs where laughter and love filled the air.
Rogelio is survived by his beloved wife, Edna Franco, his loving mother, Aurelia Cruz Nieva; his father, Joel De La Rosa Bravo; his stepchildren, Sebastian Gonzalez, Brian Ugalde, Teodoro Ugalde and Maxine Franco. He was the dear brother of: Rocio De La Rosa Cruz, Hector De La Rosa Cruz, Miguel De La Rosa Cruz, Lorena De La Rosa Cruz and Jorge De La Rosa Cruz. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Oscar De La Rosa Cruz Cuevas, Arely De La Rosa Cruz Cuevas, Jennifer Samperio De La Rosa, Jeason Samperio De La Rosa, Mariela De La Rosa Tellez, Edgar De La Rosa Tellez, Ayde De La Rosa Martinez and Itzel De La Rosa Martinez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, March 19th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave, Summit, NJ. Following the visitation in New Jersey arrangements will be made to bury Rogelio by his family in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Rogelio De La Rosa Cruz, de 40 años, de Summit, NJ, falleció el jueves 13 de marzo de 2025. Nació el 8 de septiembre de 1984 en Oaxaca, México, y era hijo de Aurelia Cruz Nieva y Joel De La Rosa Bravo. Se mudó a Summit, NJ, hace más de 20 años.
Rogelio era una persona trabajadora y dedicada, conocida por su fuerte ética laboral y pasión por su oficio. Como orgulloso propietario y operador de DLR Home Improvements, se comprometió a ofrecer un excelente servicio a sus clientes, y su negocio era un verdadero reflejo de su dedicación y habilidad.
Más allá de su vida profesional, Rogelio encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos. Era un fanático del fútbol y disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia, a menudo organizando parrilladas memorables donde la risa y el amor llenaban el aire.
Rogelio deja atrás a su amada esposa, Edna Franco, su cariñosa madre, Aurelia Cruz Nieva; su padre, Joel De La Rosa Bravo; sus hijastros, Sebastián González, Brian Ugalde, Teodoro Ugalde y Maxine Franco. Era el querido hermano de: Rocío De La Rosa Cruz, Héctor De La Rosa Cruz, Miguel De La Rosa Cruz, Lorena De La Rosa Cruz y Jorge De La Rosa Cruz. También le sobreviven sus amados sobrinos y sobrinas: Óscar De La Rosa Cruz Cuevas, Arely De La Rosa Cruz Cuevas, Jennifer Samperio De La Rosa, Jeason Samperio De La Rosa, Mariela De La Rosa Téllez, Edgar De La Rosa Téllez, Ayde De La Rosa Martínez e Itzel De La Rosa Martínez.
Se invita a familiares y amigos a asistir a la vigilia el miércoles 19 de marzo de 6:00-8:00 PM en Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave, Summit, NJ. Después de la vigilia en Nueva Jersey, se harán los arreglos para enterrar a Rogelio junto a su familia en Oaxaca, México.
