Robert Cole Obituary

Robert 'Bob' A. Cole, a Retired US Army Veteran, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian G. (James) Cole to whom he shared over 40 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2021. Born in Cranston, he was the first of seven children born to the late Anthony R. and Jeanette (Lauvers) Cole.
Bob loved being near the water, whether it be fishing, relaxing at the beach or enjoying a meal at Iggy's on Oakland Beach. He enjoyed bowling, watching WWE wrestling and old movies. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Bob was the devoted father of Bobby Cole (wife, Linda) and Jason Cole (wife, Justine); stepfather of Mark Goldstein, Tammy Dwnell and the late Gayle Goldstein; grandfather and great-grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the big brother of Carol Davis, Gary Cole, Laurie Micheletti, Mark Cole, Doreen Cole-Borrelli and Joann Higgins.
His interment will be private.
