Richard Leroy Robinson

Age 89, was born June 12,1936 in Elmira, NY the son of the late George and Mary (Stabel) Robinson. He passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. His loving wife, Ann (Peterson) Robinson preceded him in death in 2004. His brothers, Elwin Robinson, Gary Robinson, Wayne Robinson and his cherished dog, "Molly" also predeceased him. Survivors that are left to cherish his memory are his loving children: son, Richard "Rick" (Kathy) Robinson; daughter, Elizabeth Chandonait; beloved grandchildren: Jonathan (Meghan) Chandonait, Abigail Cleary, Kazimir Cleary, Ethan Cleary, Ellie Cleary, Elizabeth Cleary and Julian Cleary; brothers, Allen (Marlene) Robinson and Tom Robinson; along with several nieces and nephews. Richard retired from Stanton Automatics in Auburn, NY after several years of dedicated service as a repairman. He loved tinkering with his Triumph car and especially loved traveling with his family. A private graveside service will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira where he will be laid to rest with his beloved Ann, at a time convenient with his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA, 2435 NY 352 Elmira, NY 14903. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the Robinson Family.
