Raymond M Thompson born in Kershaw, SC on 11/02/1950 to Peter Wardlow Thompson and Mary L Harris. He was the 8th child born in this union. He departed this life on 3/19/2025, in Newark NJ.
Raymond accepted Christ at an early age where he continued his belief and studies until is departure from this life. Raymond love God, Life and Family. He enjoyed writing, reading bible verses and scriptures. He also love to dress and watch Cheaters on TV.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father and 8 siblings. Heyward, Samuel, Amanda Thompson, Carrie Clark, Juanita Thompson, Woodrow, Robert and James Bernard. He leaves behind his Sisters Cora (Willie) Bernard of Buffalo, NY, Barbara Thompson, Buffalo NY and brother Ernest (Laura), two care givers nieces Melinda White(Ronn) and Tracey Lawrence(Kent). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews which include great and great -great of the same. Cousins and many family and friends to cherish his memory.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the calls, condolence and prayers. Your kinds words and expression of sympathy has really meant more than you can know, during this time.
