Raymond G. Escott, aged 82, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Born on July 12, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, Raymond lived a life marked by dedication and love for his family and his work.
Raymond devoted many years of his career as a Product Designer for Ford Automotive Co., contributing to the innovation and design that the company is known for. His commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on both his colleagues and the industry.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Reginald and Irene Escott; his cherished granddaughter, Lindsey; and his dear brothers, Glen, Fredrick, William "Bill," and Kenneth.
Raymond is survived by his children, Dawn (Doug) Wilkins, Paula (Robert) Renke, and Raymond (Deanna) Escott. He was a proud grandfather to Danielle, Kenny, Kelsey, Allison, Austin, Audrey, Christofor, and Angelina, and a great-grandfather to one great-grandchild. His memory will be treasured by all whose lives he touched.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service to honor Raymond's life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by entombment in Michigan Memorial Park.
