Interment will follow in Gueydan Cemetery.
The family is requesting hours to be held Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 8:00 until the time of service at 1:00 PM, with a Rosary recited at 11:00 AM.
Roy was born in Kaplan, LA to Ernest Faulk and Maxine Landry Faulk on November 18, 1935.
Roy was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all who knew him. He was an Ironworker and a farmer. He loved to barbecue and cook for his friends and family. Roy enjoyed being outdoors, especially deer and duck hunting.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Valree Leblanc and her husband Hilary; four grandchildren, Jodi Stovall (Jack), Bryant Faulk (Julia), Brad Faulk (Thuy), Nick Faulk (Rya); great grandchildren Eric Stovall, Kaylan Trahan, Jacie Faulk, Grant Faulk, Ryan Faulk, Olivia Faulk; and one great grandson due in February.
Roy is preceded in death by parents, Ernest Faulk and Maxine Landry Faulk; his son Bryan Faulk; sister, Daloris Fauk.
He will be carried to his final resting place by Bryant Faulk, Brad Faulk, Nick Faulk, Hilary LeBlanc, Eric Stovall, Grant Faulk and one honorary pall bearer Jack Stovall.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home of GUEYDAN 514 Second St. Gueydan, LA 70542.
