Patricia Victory Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Funeral Home on Jan. 28, 2026.
Patricia Anne Victory passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 31, 2025. She was 78.

Patsy was a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures and the company of others. A longtime bartender, she loved the conversations, laughter, and connections that came with the job. When she wasn't chatting with customers, she could be found happily absorbed in a good puzzle, whether it was jigsaw, word, number, or logic. She took great satisfaction in each piece fitting just right. She cherished time spent simply hanging out by sharing stories, enjoying quiet moments, reading a mystery novel, traveling, and watching Hallmark movies. She appreciated the rhythm of life and, of course, loved dancing at a good party. After all, "girls just want to have fun," and she always did.

Patsy was born February 19, 1947, to the late James Victory and Sarah (nee Rickard) Victory Strawhacker. She is survived by her siblings, Theresa Katz and Thomas Victory (Josie); her sister-in-law, Mary Victory; her nieces, Erin Gawlick (Mike) and Joy Minnick (JR); her nephew, Satchel Victory; and her grand-nieces and nephew: Mary, Suzie, Sarah, and Victor. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Jimmy Victory.

Her life was lived without fanfare, yet it was rich in connection, laughter, and love. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to Patsy's Life Celebration on her birthday, February 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Boyd Horrox Givnish Funeral Home, 200 W> Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19401. A service will begin at 11:00 AM.
