Of Maplewood

Born November 16, 1935. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 90 on January 26, 2026.

Devoted Wife of Richard J. "Dick" Schreier, Sr., Beloved Mother of 15, Grandmother of 71 and Great-grandmother of 118+. All were her greatest joys!

Patricia was a faith-filled woman who always put her family first. A wonderful homemaker extraordinaire, who enjoyed family trips, flowers, holidays, birthday celebrations, movies, fall colors, music, the Minnesota Twins and sweets of all kinds.

She was humble and selfless, always attentive to others. She was generous with her time and blessings. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile that she wore with her elegant personality.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Richard "Dick" Schreier, Sr., her parents John and Anna Tschida, her six sisters (Anna Marie, Dorothy, Doris, Helen, Bernice, and Betty), her daughter-in-law Jean Schreier and her son-in-law Keith Champion.

Survived by 15 children and 71 [grandchildren]: Kathleen Champion [Sharon, Laura, Joe, Tony, Ken, Marissa, Brent]; Richard Jr. (Donna), [Amanda, Lindsay, Ricky III, Jessie, Eric]; Yvonne (Lee) Clintsman, [Lee, Jr., Patti, Annie, Dusty, Troy, Kurtis, Valerie, Randall]; Diane (Daniel) Tschida, [Lynnette, Gayle, Alex, Emma]; Paul (Brigid), [Samantha, Michelle, Paul, Jr., Courtney, Rita, Anthony, Kathleen, Margaret]; Barbara (Pat) Gervais, [Erica, Justin, Russ, Nick, Christina]; Bernadette (Bill) Hafner, [Natalie, Connie, Vicky, Alisha, Hannah, Lillian, Mary]; Mary (Todd) Borndale, [Devin, Stephanie, Nathan]; Judy (John) Seibel, [Megan, Johnny, Rachel, Ellen]; Joseph (Rose) [Zack, Abby, Isabel, Sophia]; Angela (Bugs) Malone, [Quinn, Griffin, Delaney, Cecilia]; Michael (special friend Ramona); Lisa (Joe) McRaith, [Olivia, Alexa, Brady]; Leonard (Becky), [Lenny Jr., Evie, Aiden]; Stephen, [Cayla, Cassie, Drew, Logan, Marie, Alyssa]; grandchildren's spouses and 118 great-grandchildren with more on the way; beloved sister-in-law, Mary Jo (Dick) Morris and brother-in-law, Tom Muellner, Sr. and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a long-time parishioner of St. Jerome Parish. She lived her faith and passed it onto her children.

Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday, February 4 at Washburn McReavy Funeral Chapel, 515 Hwy. 96 W., Shoreview. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM (visitation begins at 10 AM) Thursday, February 5 at ST. JEROME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 380 E. Roselawn Ave., Maplewood. A luncheon in the lower church will follow the mass. A private interment will take place at Fort Snelling on Friday, February 6.

Memorials preferred to St. Jerome Catholic Church in Maplewood or Jean Schreier Memorial Fund of St. John the Evangelist Church in Little Canada.
