Norval Tetrick
Norval Dee Tetrick, 68 years, 11 months, passed away on, January 4, 2026, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri with his family by his side.
Norval was born February 4, 1957, in Ava, Missouri to Cleon and Norma Lee (Foster) Tetrick.
He was raised in Douglas County and attended the Ava schools.
On February 12, 1982 Norval and Robyn (Frye) were united in marriage at the Clark Church in Foil, Missouri.
Norval worked at the Welton Gravel for many years. Later on he went to work at the Hutchens Steel Plant in Mansfield, Missouri. He retired after working for 25 years.
He was a Christian and a member of the Clark Church.
Norval enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching John Wayne westerns. He also loved camping with his family and friends. In addition, Norval enjoyed sitting on the porch with his two dogs, Daisy Mae and Dozer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleon and Norma Lee.
Norval is survived by his wife, Robyn; children and their spouses, Randall & Michelle Tetrick, Danny Tetrick, Brandon & Wendy Tetrick, and Lisa & Keith Graham; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Boyer, Cleon & Kathy Tetrick, Gary & Alyce Tetrick, and Floyd & Amy Tetrick; many nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with a graveside following at 11:00 A.M. in the Ava Cemetery, Ava, Missouri. A love offering may be made to the family. Officiating will be Pastor Stan Collins.
