Mona V. Troxell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, went to her heavenly home on February 6, 2025, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Born on November 13, 1956, in Norman, Oklahoma, to H.C. and Oma Foster, Mona was a woman of unwavering faith, deep love for her family, and a joyful spirit.
On November 15, 1991, she married Jerry Troxell, her best friend and the love of her life. Together, they shared a life filled with copious amounts of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Mona worked as a financial advisor for the University of Oklahoma, a role that allowed her to contribute to the community she loved, all while being an avid fan of OU sports.
A lover of beautiful things, Mona had a great passion for gardening. She found peace in tending to her plants and immersing herself in a good book. She also had a deep love for yellow roses and orchid flowers. Mona was known for her affinity for pink, a symbol of the warmth and tenderness she radiated to all those around her.
Mona was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, with a deep and abiding faith in Christ. She took great joy in her husband, children, and grandchildren, always prioritizing family and making sure they knew how deeply she loved them.
Her legacy of kindness, devotion, and love for her family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
