Michael Baird Obituary

Michael C. "Mickey" Baird, 60, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 4:51 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, in West Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation. Michael was born on February 22, 1965 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Jake and Carroll (Neider) Baird, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry. Michael had been employed as a factory worker. On February 11, 2006 in Buchanan, Michigan he married Cheryl L. Goodwin, who survives. Michael is also survived by two daughters, Ashley Peterson of Colorado and Rhianan Baird of South Bend, Indiana; and two sisters, Leanne Campbell of Florida and Julie (Rod) Bouchard of Tennessee. There will be no visitation or services. Michael was a 1983 graduate of St. Joseph High School where he was a member of the Hockey Team. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and training dogs in Saskatchewan, Canada. Memorial Contributions should be directed to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
