Michael Alvarez, a kind-hearted and compassionate soul, left this world far too soon at the age of 48. A devoted son, brother, and father, Michael's love and generosity touched countless lives in Amelia, Louisiana.
Born on April 2, 1976, Michael grew up with a deep love for the outdoors, finding solace in the bayous of Louisiana. His passions for hunting and fishing were only matched by his desire to lend a helping hand to those in need. Michael's selfless nature inspired those around him, as he would willingly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Survived by his cherished daughter, Katelyn Alvarez; step son Dylan Stansbury (Kara); adored Grandsons Jase and Austin Stansbury; loving brother, Leonard Alvarez (Caroline); and devoted mother, Esmeralda Tolento, father, Jorge Tolento; niece, Cassandra Alvarez (Bryar); nephew Leonard Alvarez Jr.; Chosen family, Neysa Sellers, Uncle Michael Chaisson. Michael's memory will live on through the countless lives he touched. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and generosity will continue to inspire his family.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 at Twin City Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
