Michael Alfredo Obituary

Michael R. Alfredo, 73, passed peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday February 26, 2025 at Sacred Heart Home in New Bedford. He was the son of the late Dorothy E. (Herlihy) Alfredo, who cared for him for over forty-five years, and the late Richard M. Alfredo.
Michael is survived by his sister, Beth Avila of Fairhaven, his brother, Richard Alfredo of New York City, his aunt, Frances Lewis of Pompano Beach, Florida, as well as several cousins and many friends. He was the brother-in-law of the late Brian G. Avila and the godchild of the late Dr. Robert S. and Rosaline Sharples.
Michael's family would like to thank everyone at Sacred Heart Home, who have taken such wonderful care of him throughout the many years that he has lived there. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 14th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 440 Main St. in Fairhaven. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
